I thought you might have a few trees on your land. I don't know what they put in chutney I think shallots are one ingredient.

92 f today a bit of a turn up for September . It is quite tiring but watering must be
done. I did not tell Archie I forgot to turn the water off, but I do pay the bills.
I have grown melons, my brother says the smell makes him feel ill, I have eaten
one so I suppose I shall have to give the others away. He is on a lot of pills- like
the restof us, but he acts like his old Grampy did. Fretting until the works done
and thenquite jovial.l I expect I am annoying at times,
I expect we all are except one or two Angels still on here. Of course if you are
one please let me know, I will try and answer your blog more often.
Goodness I nearly had a fit somewhere I read that Windows 12 is being
prepared. Something to look forward to I suppose.

I don't care much for these new-fangled HoneyCrisp apples. I like the old fashioned ones....the ones that can sprout a baby tree and grow up to grow more apple trees.

Good Morning
After reading this post I want to go out and buy some apples and put some in the oven for a nice treat. I've never made chutney. What goes in it? I wish Archie the best when he goes for his tests. I hope that soon he starts to feel better. Archie's wife makes me smile. I'm sure she's done her fair share of work over the years. I do love fresh jam. It is so good. I love apple butter too. I hope you are feeling better after cutting down on your steroids.

Lo Pat, a bit tough going at present. We are supposed to get a heat wave this week.
My brother said the sun now has to pass through more layers of atmosphere at this
time of the year and it really does not seem harsh like it did early in the year.

Had to laugh about hiding Archie's saw under her bed... I think the weather has done a number on tree fruits all over the world this year. Late frosts, extreme heat, and other issues as well.

Good afternoon
From fifteen to three steroids, that is good news. I used to have an inhaler that contained steroids when I had adult-onset asthma back in 2007. Luckily, I was able to control it naturally by taking Quercetin. That inhaler has been in my review mirror since 2009. As for those apples, I can almost smell a cinnamon and brown sugar apple crisp baking away in the oven.
