Yes it would not surprise me, Perhaps the old times were the good ones.
We seem to be amongst new waves of anguish at every news hour.
I suppose once it was about the neighbors cattle getting out. Or the new fad for
a bustle.

Yes it is OK very sleepy but not in pain. I'll just let it fade away if possible, sadly one does not know the history of stray cats.

Well, you tried to help the cat as much as possible. Sounds like a medical mess there. Not all that different here in parts of the country. Good post.

I guess all you can do is feed and love on the kitty. We just had a comfortable few days but now the hot is back. I got used to only a few hot days a year in Canada.

You are so right about the summer being very strange. Everything
about it, the "news" and politics, the weather, what people are doing to and for each other. It's hard to know whether this is all real or if we're going to wake up tomorrow and realize we've fallen asleep during an avant garde movie. I hope your kitty friend is ok in spite of the uninterested help professionals. Be well.
