Yes, I think these will be very warm, and wool keeps warmth even when wet, so they told me when I was selling camping gear. Down just goes wet and flat, so it's useless in rain.

Some of the wool are now washable, but I recommend them all to be hand-washed in cold water, dried flat.

I like the way I think they look. I love the soft yarns, but stick mostly
to acrylics, since I donate most of them and I don't include washing instructions - wool needs to be washed cold and laid flat to dry, but acrylics can go in the washer and dryer.

They sound really lovely and with bigger stitching the air gets in and warms up so actually they are warmer than tightly knit scarves. They sound beautiful.
