I think that last sentence sums up that teacher. But a privilege to have had one so bright!!

I am sure she was glad to get away from war torn England. I visited there the first time in 1962 and England was deeply in debt, were struggling to rebuild her cities and in many cases folks were still in shock from the years of war and of loss. heaps of girls married Australian soldiers, Canadians and New Zealanders, I believe though it was most girls dream to marry a Yank...live the good life after such a terrible time.

Pat the girls were mesmerised by the guys in their smart uniforms. It made the
locals seem drab. Well, most were fighting anyhow. The advice I would give to any
young woman is to make sure to visit the intended family and analyse.

Good afternoon
This was a great story. That is the beauty of a good teacher in that they are open to a good debate. As for creative writing, punctuation, and grammar, I am not great at it, but it doesn't stop my love for it. I just keep on keeping on and continue to learn along the way.
