I'm really glad I have not found one in my tub.....yet.   Once on vacation in the days of staying in motels, I found a Texas brown tarantula in a corner.  It scared me to death and I went wild and beat it to death with my husband's shoe.  I haven't really ever cared for arachnids since.

Re: Goldiec,

I used to react with sounds unreproducible except when surprised by another spider, but when I was a counselor at a summer camp, I had to contain my reaction at one night finding two huge wood-spiders on the tent ceiling right above my cot, and that was the start of getting past that! That was in Ohio, by the way. Out here we don't have those, we have the bigger tarantulas that migrate en masse through parts of Colorado every fall.

Good Evening

Ciel, my grandson Neno has sprayed the house twice for spiders and anything else that we don't know about.  My grandson Caeser and my son Michael are terrified of spiders.

My Sunday is very quiet Thank you dear and I am hoping it stays this way. I Googled your Spider creature,  and managed to terrify myself while reading about it. I have a phobia about Spiders...I leaned against the house as a child and two large harmless spiders jumped onto my little back. Big sister screamed but wouldn't help me so I ran screaming to Mother who brushed them off with her dish towel...something that always seemed to be in her hand.

Good afternoon

Living near the river, we get them too. Some spiders are harmless, some not so much.

Re: Amanda,

Spider bites can be nasty! Not just painful, but the venom can play havoc with the skin and nerves! Solpugids don't have venom, but some of them have pretty mean jaws!

What a surprise.  My aunt was bitten by a spider once.

No sun spiders in the shower for me, thanks just the same.

The fruit flies are irritating enough.
