Tech is so frustrating, and constantly changing... 'improving' they say. So frustrating having to forget what was familiar and learn new rituals and pathways, and often not so rewarding. I finally got a device so I can read the camera memory cards straight into this new laptop, but the photo editor is quite different from what I've used for years and found quite adequate.

darling this is full of good and frustration. yes good you found blogit but the rest is such a problem. We have a tech. guy who takes over our computers from a distance and fixes them. BUT I lost my old FB page somehow and I cannot get back into email no matter how hard I try...and the tech guy can't do it either.

I'm so sorry that you went through all of that. I would have helped you out for sure. I am a picture lover as well. Family photos are the best. I miss the old photo albums that everyone used to flip through, although I still have mine. Everything is digital these days. What a shame. I'm glad that all worked out for you. Good Morning
Taps, I'm so glad that you got to see all the pictures and videos of your family. That is worth its weight in gold. I have to say I'm not good at figuring things out on the computer and I would probably do the same thing that you did. There have been many times that my grandson Caeser has to come and fix whatever I've done. The funny part about it is that I can spend hours trying to straighten out my mess and Caeser will come in and sit down and have it all fixed in five minutes. I find it amazing. I hope you have a good day.
