Now for many years instead of a party etc....i just like to visit a new place & holiday on my birthday:)

Take comfort from knowing that you don't suddenly get a year older on your birthday, you were getting there all year, one second, one minute, one day at a time. I try not to think about it.

Yes Pat, the sooner over the better and then time to sort through the presents. Lucky little squirrels. The sunflowers I grow have heads all up the stems they are a fave for the customers.One has to wait such a long time for any result, I think if it is urgent one is informed quicker, well hopefully.

Does any woman really want 10 children???? I think they just came every year. I once met a very lovely woman who was slim and beautiful who had 17 children. All I could think of to reply was WHY???? and then apologise.

I've come to regard birthdays as the lesser of two evils. That you're
able to observe and maybe even celebrate this latest one means that your appreciation for this world will continue for a bit. I like the happy faces of sunflowers - and my troop of backyard squirrels really love the seeds they produce as fall approaches. I hope your brother's MRI brings useful information and improvements to the general well-being the two of you are hoping for.Â
