They are generally dormant in a little plastic tub of some kind of meal. If I leave them out at room temperature, they get more active and wriggly, and can move on to beetlehood.

A couple of summers ago my landlord turned up with portable a/c units, one for each half of the duplex. Mine is upstairs in the living room, set to blow cool air right on me when I'm sitting in my comfy chair. It is sufficient and I am very appreciative of my landlord!

They are mealworms, small and dry, not big and damp like earthworms.
Charlie says the audition was okay, there were only a couple of others trying out.

Good Morning
Ciel, I hope that you stay cool during these really hot days. Do you have air conditioning throughout your house? I have a friend that lives in Colorado and she always posts on Facebook when it's really hot there. Fortunately, she has air conditioning. It's too hot for people to be in the heat. It's not safe for anyone to be in it. Charlie has so many interests. I love his enthusiasm when it comes to new projects.
