That good kind of socialism that you speak of is a whole lot closer to the words spoken by Jesus, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

As Churchill said, Democracy is not a great form of Government but it is better than anything else.[not his phrase but what he meant} Republicans can't seem to stand losing. which means they are against Democracy and want to rule alone. That makes either the leader a lame duck or a Dictator. Not anything the Founding Fathers believed in.
