Re: Good Morning
I am finding out that there are many places in this world where people are unsafe and mistreated for various reasons, just look at world news today. I was raised in church and have never had any kind of mistreatment for being a believer and it is difficult for me to comprehend anyone being abused for how they worship.

Good Morning
I really feel for the Christians in that area. It is not safe for them. I'm going to do some research on this area. I find this very interesting. We are so fortunate that we have religious freedom in our country. I happen to be a Protestant but I believe people have the right to study whatever they want and most important of all is that they are safe.

Burma....it was called Burma...I have always followed it because of the suffering of the Prisoners of war there in WW11. so many Aussies, English and Americans. also i knew a woman in Sydney who were missionaries and were still there when the Japanese came. They hid out in the jungle for those war years ...imagine always moving on from one end to the other.

Re: Good afternoon
I would have loved to have a map-maker uncle. Did they also make globes?

Good afternoon
Not a clue, but I have an ancestor who was a map maker. Maybe this is why I love maps and globes so much.

Re: I always translate in my mind Myanmar = Burma...
You have a great mind. Myanmar was Burma....I looked it up after you said it.

I always translate in my mind Myanmar = Burma...
But I am not about to claim that's correct. Absolutely unsure of this, but I disagree with any government that punishes anyone for following their religious beliefs.

My guess is Middle East. It's actually on the other side of India, I see upon checking. I learned something new today.
