The a/c has been fixed, and yes, there was an electrical problem, but they fixed that as well.

Always a problem,I do wonder if trees are more sensitive than we think. I have an
Ash tree and this year it has come into leaf earlier than I have ever known it to.
Against all odds of warming. If the Ash is before the Oak we shall always get a soak.
It is raining now although we did have the hottest June for donkey's years.

I like your story about Caliban and the case of the disappearing flies...
What a mess with water in the ceiling and light fixtures. Could be the prelude to smoke damage if my understanding of wiring and a/c dribbles is anywhere near reality. Be careful.
