Sadie will be a bit slowed down for a day or two, but will bounce

That's great that you are a responsible pet parent. I would do the same. There are so many shelter animals due to people not doing the right thing. It's hot here too. We are supposed to hit 90 degrees today with a possibility of rain. Enjoy the heat while you can. Before you know it, fall will be settling in.
