It does feel weird with the Fourth on a Tuesday because we have had it on weekends for a good while now. I imagine a lot of people will be off on July 3rd.

Good afternoon
It has rained here much of the day as well. Looking at the weather report, we are showing rain all the way through the 4th. I am crossing my fingers that we all have a holiday with no precipitation.

Your weather sounds much more reasonable than the heat wave
that's coming our way from the Texas-Oklahoma area. Supposed to be above 90 tomorrow and 100 degrees here on Friday. Not a fan of hot weather (tornadoes either, for that matter). Your holiday menu sounds delicious, and so healthy!

it will be lovely to have family all around you. I cannot tell you how much I miss my Sons and Grandbabies...well grown up grandbabies.
