My Phobia started when I was a child. The dentist had a drill he worked by pedaling with a foot and it was slow and horrid. Mother always said No to me having an injection to reduce the pain level,

Dentists, Doctors...anything of that nature doesn't scare me but having to visit them is on the bottom of my 'like' list.

Of course, when I was a lad it was pretty horrible to go to the dentist. A pedal drill
was sheer torture. Especially when the dentist stopped pedalling and the drill
screeched to a halt in the tooth cavity. Also, the injection was more painful than
having the tooth pulled. In the forces I had a dentist he did not use a drill he
chiselled any tooth that needed filling.

Good morning
I do not fear the cleanings, it is the root canals that get me. Regardless of my fears, I still keep regular appointments with my dentist. Bad teeth can really be detrimental to a person's health.
