Oh my - earworm. Your subject tune has been playing in my head since I read your post at 2 AM. Fortunately I really like the Blues. As  someone pointed out not so long ago, as we get older, regularly hearing about the loss of friends or people we know is to be expected; doesn't make it any easier, but that's what it is. Memories are what remain, and I'm sure each of these departed would be happy to read the respect in your memories of them posted here.

I read this this morning and then Son came before I got my coffee in preparation to respond, so here I am eight hours later thinking about it again.  Practically everybody I've ever known that was older than me is already gone....so many of my good friends and co'workers.  Good memories though.

How lovely to have that lovely garden And a sweetheart of a neighbor next doort. I am sorry about your friends passing but how nice to be able to say such genuinely wonderful things about them.

Good Morning

Pat, I know it's wonderful to live next to such a creative person.  It's nice to have a chat with your neighbor on a beautiful summer morning.  I'm so sorry about the passing of three people that you knew and respected.  I hope you have a good day.  I can almost hear the sound of the beep, beep, beep of the construction equipment as the men work across the street.
