Paypal had a tip if one liked on the site, but I noticed it has vanished it was only for one pound sterling.

Good Afternoon

FSI, there's always been the people that are generous with their tips and then there are the other ones and some of those people just can't afford it with the prices going up constantly.  If I go to a restaurant I pay 20% unless the service is exceptional.  Tips are debatable at their best.

It is the thing that I miss from Australia. No Tipping. People everywhere get paid a living wage for their work. All the people have to keep ensuring, is full time work. Oh and the price of an item one wants to buy includes the taxes on the ticket price so what you see is what you pay!

Good afternoon

The tip game is really getting old. Escalated prices for almost everything, and higher wage demands have really turned me off of tipping just anyone. I ordered a pizza that I picked up myself rather than having it delivered, and when making the payment, the debit card terminal asked what percentage of gratuity I wanted to give. I mean, for what? They didn't deliver it. As for self-service, I do not see where a tip would be required. I tip for sit-down meals in a restaurant where a waitress has served me, and most everything where someone has performed a service over and above the normal job requirements. I guess this is a huge topic that is subject to debate.
