I don't travel anymore (too old to drive, prone to air sickness and sea sickness), but if I ever come that way again, I'll keep an eye out for it. In the meantime, I googled the 77 best photos of Pahrump. That was fun.

Pahrump is the name the American Indians gave this town of 50thousand now meaning water rock as we have 5 under ground waters and surrounded by mountains. it is a place folks seem to retire and we have a lot of veterans here
