I saw them in concert 5 times. Dennis Wilson was harassed by Charles Manson. There was a movie made about Brian Wilson starring John Cusack called Love and Mercy.

Sigh, I loved the Beach Boys, loved their music and loved them. Yes they were International successes; very big in Australia where there has always been a surfing and using the beach for pleasure culture.

It's hard to picture the Beach Boys without any other name...In "Kokomo," John Stamos of Full House fame played the drums. In fact, Beach Boys made a few appearances in Full House.
