I am cross with your washer, I remember when you bought it; those appliances are meant to go for years. Your family are very lucky you do all the laundry for the house.maybe you are meant to stay where you are; at least for now.

I believe most of the homelessness comes from an increase in drug use. Opiods are all the way rage nowadays. So many people find themselves then losing jobs and can't sustain living somewhere. People may not be willing to take them in due to their drug habits. Out on the street, they continue to do more drugs.

I was thinking of getting a couple of air conditioners. We are sure to get hot summers for a while, although I notice that the Ash is coming out early and the old proverb suggests that we get more rain than usual.

I'd been thinking of relocating, too - before the real estate market
went bonkers and the Fed upped the interest rates. I have a bit of trouble getting up and down the stairs - and there are porches/steps both at the front and back, so I hang onto the handrail and take one at a time these days. It would be nice to have a place that's all on one level, but for now this will have to do.
