I have a lot of stuff like that, especially in my bedroom where I have two huge bookcases much taller than I. I was just looking at them this morning when I got up thinking that I must get rid of a lot of the stuff before someone else has to take it on.

it is your HOME and your life. Those people remodel a House. I have had to let go of too much over the years. Comes from being a rolling stone but if i had never moved after I married the boys father my home would be like yours.love you.

Well Pat I think older folk like to keep a few reminders. I was looking on Amazon for a lemon squeezer . One just presses the half lemon onto a revolving old fashioned type of hand squeezer mold. Reviews were a bit off putting. I happened to look at the back of a kitchen cupboard . I already had one.

Good morning
I love both the Little Women book and the movie. As for the keepsakes, my daughters are always surprised when I open my old wooden box that is filled with photographs and the things that they made in school and brought home. Surprisingly, most of them are still in good shape.

Good Morning
Pat, I feel the same about my decorating skills and the things I've collected over the years. When the contractors come back on Monday to put the ceiling up they are going to take down the old fan and put up a new one. The kids said the old fan was hideous. I never paid a bit of attention to it. Now there will be a shiny new fan that will be centered in the middle of the room. The old fan was off center and I have no idea why. I never thought about things like that. I should pay more attention to my surroundings.
