Good Morning
Pat, I love reading about the way it used to be but I think I love all the conveniences of now. If I had to pick three things I love about now they would be my dishwasher, my washing machine, and my dryer. There are many more including my coffee maker but I was trying to narrow it down. I hope you have a good day.

If only we could reclaim the best of the past while enjoying the improvements on all that was not so good!

I have a big World Atlas of about 1950. I still love it, but nothing is the same. I like my old one better than a current one on the computer.

There are improvements I feel blessed to have learned the use of.
Refrigeration...my parents had a safe with little holes in it to let air through, hanging in a tree to keep milk butter and cream in plus meat for a few hours. The Kerosene 'Fridge was a huge event evidently. I washed all my nappies; the ones you could buy, I couldn't afford and anyway when I tried them if we were travelling, they always gave my babies a sore bottom.

Good morning
I for one am a fan of those good old days. I still enjoy cooking from scratch and hanging my laundry outdoors to dry in the sun and wind. I am thankful for modern conveniences, but a simple life is better for the body, mind, and soul. Enjoy your day.
