I'm sure you've heard that old phrase that says, "Familiarity breeds contempt."
With mushrooms, familiarity breeds knowledge. I had a book I carried with me that helped me identify the good from the bad. This page was also a good helper.

Already in use. I do believe the Fairy Queen has been sitting on it telling stories to the baby Fairies while their Mother's are working.
