That reminds me of the Egyptian I was engaged to that I left. As a matter of fact I am editing and posting that story on vella now.

Re: Kabu
Jim has the right idea! A real man is a partner. The incident about the couple in the mall happened maybe 30 years ago.

If this is the way I am supposed to spend time with Jim...then I am a big disappointment. As I sit here in Blogit, he is filling the dishwasher and has the beginnings of Chicken Fettichini in the oven.

Good afternoon
Lol...you have described John and me perfectly, although he walks next to me when we shop. Aging is a fine art to contend with and each long-term couple I'm sure does it at a rate that they each learn to adapt to each year as the aches, pains, and health issues become a part of their lives.

Good Afternoon
Pat, I think this scene plays out in a lot of different places.

Re: CCT
Keen observation, CCT! I hope we have learned better ways to share a life since the time I first wrote the blurb in this post, perhaps we can understand social cues better and thus avoid such situations.

Perhaps the next generation will be more equal. Traits in courtship should be drilled
into young females perchance. Rough handling etc. It bodes no happy union.
But we all know the internal conflict that simulates unawareness when one is young.
