Coachcella tends to show up in times like that! One of the reasons I enjoy my Kindle is that we can see see it to read without light or power. Power goes off often out here in the bush, and a charged Kindle comes through every time!

We always switch off the computer etc., if lightening is around. Although we do not
seem to get it very often these days. I think you were lucky it could have been worse.

Good evening
I love the sound of rain. It is a good sleep inducer. The big bangs are another thing. Thunder and lightning have a way of being a bit unnerving. When I'm home alone, I keep candles around the house...just in case. We had a light rain a few minutes ago, but it appears to have calmed down now. At least you got a restful nap. Have a good night.
