I was bullied and shunned to the side through most of grade school. I've had employers treat me like a doormat unless they wanted something from me. It never occurred to me to pick up a gun or any other weapon and take out my anger, frustration, hurt, despair etc. Though nowadays things are more vicious and they can humiliate you in seconds with the use of cell phones. I think cell phones should be locked up from the moment they enter school until they are ready to go.

About once a month I cannot even get on Facebook for about a day. It will tell me it is blocked and to call a certain telephone number to get it fixed. I just close down facebook for the day and usually by the next day it is not there so I go on with the posts. But it is a drag to be bothered by the scams.

If I had school-age kids now, I could not in good conscience send them to public schools. It's like saying they are not important enough not to take chances with their lives!

Pat, I've had the same thing happen to me and then I would delete them. Now I accept very few new friends on Facebook and I have to make sure they are real. It's a tricky world we live in.

Good morning
Social media sites need to amp up their security. I have had the same thing happen on Facebook. I will get multiple friend requests from the same person. I believe that they are hacks. I usually contact and ask the person if it is them. And those song lyrics, "Make the world go away," resonates with how I am currently feeling about our world's many ugly situations. Sadly one has to be so careful these days. Some are looking for any easy pay off.
I do not bother to answer the phone unless I know the caller. I felt uneasy on some
sites so I just closed them down. A shame really but thats how the cookie crumbles.
