Re: Pat_B, the Naval hospital is amazing.

Our middle daughter was born at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Virginia. It was some of the best care that I ever received and it didn't cost us one dime since John was on active duty in the Navy at the time.

In Canada, Wiley's physician added me to his patient list; he retired just before i came down to the USA. Covid i think helped him to decide...Now I have Jim's Physician so I feel lucky to be able to have the care I may need at times and to fill my prescriptions.

Good morning

Having good healthcare is vital to a good quality of life. You are lucky as am I. Those days of doctors making house calls are pretty amazing. They must have had really long days back then.

You are not old enough.  I and my two older sisters were born at home and deliver by doctors who came to the home although each of us were born in different places.  My oldest sis was born in Oklahoma during the great depression and my other Sis was born in my grandma's home.  Each of us had a different country doctor in attendance.

I've never had a house call from a doctor. The last person I know who had one was Harold Walger's father. He lived to 95 and was bedridden.

Good Morning

I look forward to reading more about your doctor's visit.  I can just imagine at 5 years old you just wanted to go play.
