Whatever you write, it's always good reading!

In 1920 when the Stanley Classic lunchbox was born, my Grandfather began carrying one of them to work in the coal mine of Richmond, MO.  Before that Grandma packed him a lunch in a metal bucket and covered it with a dishtowel.

I believe you will find something to write...That's some neat history those lunchboxes had.

Well you were  still in love. Once that stops reality exposes a crumbling dream.

We are all human if one manages to be realistic and reaches maturity probably

everything will balance out. Don't quote me. Probably most folk expect too much.

What a beautiful post.Reminds me of a wonderful Hindi film "Lunchbox".

Expressions of love change over time 😅

I write those notes too.

I remember those Stanley lunch boxes. My hubby also loves finding notes in his lunchbox. Those old notes are quickly becoming a thing of the past, fading with the more powerful texting. I'm old fashioned and so is John. We still appreciate the more personal sentiments that take the time and effort to actually have some thought behind them versus a quick text.

There's not a doubt in my mind that the love notes in the lunch box

had something to do with the creation of those 4 preschoolers. Sweet story!

it is difficult to write anything with little people around but i was isolated in the bush and I wrote stories in long hand everyday when my boys were having a sleep. I was doing a correspondence writing course. Actually I think it kept me sane. Whatever you put here I will enjoy.
