The catholic churches are a good source for corned beef and cabbage - or at least they were in St. Louis. I remember the last time it fell on a Friday during lent that they received special dispensation from the pope to eat meat on that Friday!

Good afternoon

I get my corned beef and cabbage from our Giant Eagle grocery store. St. Patrick's Day is my oldest daughter's birthday, so we will being dining out for the occasion on Saturday, but I will buy some chipped corned beef, swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing to make some Reuben on rye sandwiches for our dinner on Friday. John will get the leftovers in his lunch. It's chilly here today, but the sun is shining and warming everything up. Have a great day!

I can't believe St. Patrick's Day is this Friday. March is flying by.

I am glad that you are managing , it is early days , families do play a large part in

the healing process. I am still wondering if it too early to plant the tomato seeds.

I seem to remember years ago that when I ordered baby chicks we always seemed

to get a few cold days in the middle of March. Take care.

According to the weather channel, Cleveland's in the path of

one of the two major weather systems bearing down hard on regions of this country. In light of the chill, the snow, etc., might be a good day for beef stew or a nice pot of chili.
