Kabu, this part of your life seems like a Fairy tale and I'm so happy for you. As far as I go I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Every day my thinking changes a little bit. I have some ideas but they might change too. Only time will tell which path I will take. I'm more fortunate than a lot of people and I'm thankful for that. I've always paid the bills and run the house so that's not a problem for me. I just have to find which path I want to take. I have to make sure it will make me happy.

I am sure Sadie and the puppy would ahve enjoyed each other as well.sadie is very smart with her training and seems to me to be the perfect company for you. I had decided before Wiley passed i couldn't stay in the house and 4 acres through another winter on my own. I would have to sell.in a rare moment of lucid thinking he had told me he hoped I would like Jim enough to go to him. I had 3 years to think about it and Jim rang up to three times every day; then he died and Covid was rife. i had to decide quicker than I really wanted to but so far all is working out fine.

Pat, I was thinking the same thing. I know the housing market is not good right now. On the news, they were talking about the banking industry. There have been some issues there too. I will have to keep a close eye on everything at this point.

About moving: if you're feeling safe and comfortable in your home,

take your time about deciding to move. The real estate market is iffy right now, according to my son who is an appraiser. It will get better in summer, when more folks with schoolkids are looking to move. I'm guessing the situation in Cleveland is similar to that in the St. Louis region.
