Those cortisone shots are really a godsend. My dad has had many of them over the years. They've improved his quality of life.

Well one has to make the best of life I am sure your hubby would have wished it.
I suppose we always feel sorry for the one who has passed on, but of course we feel
sorry for ourselves. It is only natural. Perhaps a picture of the puppy one day.

I'm so glad your children are not going to waste away alone. There is nothing like grown loving children. It makes one smile and say to themselves, "I did a good job with them."

That puppy is just what you need and sure the men start sniffing around like dogs! I imagine going out with someone is the last thing on your mind. Jim is my Number four and I feel a bit weird about it except that Wiley was his friend and sort of picked him. You are young, one day you may be ready, don't let anyone pressure you.

It's good that Roy's friends are looking after you, stepping in on behalf
of their buddy. Perhaps there's nothing more to it and they're simply being kind. It's also possible they miss their friend and need a bit of comfort and understanding. I admire your family for being there for you as they are.

Good afternoon
4 acres of property is quite a bit to mow. I'm glad that you found help. A riding lawn mowere would be the easiest way to deal with that issue. As for the "friendly friends, " wow! You would think that those men would have enough common sense to know that you are mourning and nowhere near even thinking about moving on. It's great that you have family around to comfort you during this time.
