I don't clean more than I have to. We bathe a couple of times a year, I wash our clothes regularly depending what your idea of regular is and as for floors etc; cataracts have grown so nicely; I can't see dust and dirt any more.

Is 37, my age, considered old?

Good morning

I have always felt that you are as old as you feel. My great aunt Edith cleaned her home, stayed active, and went to the casinos until she was 96 when she passed away. She always said that staying busy was the key to a long life. You have to wonder how old they were since that is a really immature and thoughtless question. I can't imagine that anyone ever stops cleaning. It is the natural course of taking care of the mess that one makes. The person asking that question may have older relatives that didn't clean when they were young and they just stuck with their bad habits. Happy cleaning. This old woman has some cleaning to do as well today to prepare for guests.

This old person stopped cleaning because there's nobody else

here making messes and I generally pop dishes into the dishwasher as soon as I'm done eating. I will admit there's dust. Mostly I don't see it until the sun peeps through the blinds.  I hope your day is calm and you find verses forming in your mind.

Well a good job I have a vinyl floor cover. Mud in wet weather has to be wiped up

regularly. Of course if someone is incapible of doing chores, well what can one do?.

There was a giggle in the middle of the night as I read your post, TAPS. Although I have 3 who are always around me and clean up the crumbs as they fall, it did bring to mind the pile of clothes lying on the trunk at the foot of my bed, removed from the dryer and hastily thrown there to be folded and put away later....we all know what happens to 'later'.
