I have had people tell me they met my doppelganger. I also saw a picture of another in my book for religion class.

Good morning
Years ago I researched and later wrote a book on doppelgangers. Several famous people in history claim to have seen their "doppelgangers," including Abraham Lincoln and Queen Elizabeth I. Apparently seeing your own twin is not a good sign.

Well what a strange thing to realize . Perhaps there is someone who looks likes you
and it happened. Of course with most things looks are quite similar , or we do not
notice.

I was sitting in a little cafe in a nearby town about 20 years ago
when I saw my older daughter come in. She didn't see me, placed her order and then went to a booth on the other side of the restaurant and sat with a bunch of people I'd never seen before. That's when I realized this wasn't my daughter, but an absolute doppleganger. Must have been fun to see your look-alike piano player.

I find this really interesting. Of course a lot of people several generations ago moved back and forthe between the USA. While I lived in Ontario I often felt I was in a colder part of Australia still. People had to have some family members go to Canada and others to Australia. The same height, hair, facial features,way of moving hand and walking, and style of hair and clothes. The same mannerisms..everything it was just like being in Australia and people watching. Something I have always loved doing.
