A few years ago Tina Packer was a visiting scholar at U of Colorado here in Colorado Springs. She is one of the great Shakespearean scholars and actors of the current times. She wrote a book (WOMEN OF WILL) about the transition of Shakespeare's understanding of women over the course of his career. I think you'd find it interesting!
