I remember feeling a bit short of breath during our camping vacays
where we stayed a couple of times in national parks there. But so worth it. The thing that keeps me inside most in winter is the risk of slipping on hidden ice on steps & sidewalks. A slip and fall could just send one to a nursing home.

Good afternoon
That altitude change can be a bit scary. It happened to me once back in the 90 when we visited the mountains in Sierra Nevada. I never knew the reason, so thank you for the explanantion. Stay warm and have a great day.
