Well you certainly had a tough kind of life. Although young people do not realize what poverty existed in the pre-war years U.K. A few had a lot and the rest almost nothing.

What a good time for you to have moved when you did. Dr. Martin Luther King's death had a huge affect on me; there had been JFK then MLK and then Bobby Kennedy. My eldest was born on June 6th of that year. Just as he was born someone came into the delivery room and said Bobby K had just died. I called my baby boy Martin.

It seems that murder has always been a way of life for some people. I have known people who have murdered and others who have been murdered. Some of them I have written about on Blogit in my early years here. So pitiful that this is part of life.
