Pat, we both had a piece of pie and it was so good. I think you are right and it's the perfect day to enjoy our pie. It's very cold outside but we are toasty warm inside.

C_C_T, I wonder how much snow you will get? I think the heat from the oven will help with the stainless steel dish. I know your apples will be delicious.

Sherri, baking apple pie in the oven is the best. It does make the house smell wonderful. We are toasty warm in the house but when I look out the dining room window the snow keeps accumulating. I didn't realize it was going to snow as much as it did.

I love freshly fallen snow, too. I always feel a bit guilty, my shoeprints messing up the scene.

We have been forecast snow. I have started roasting my bramley apples. My brother laughed I put the first one in a round stainless steel dish. He said you used to feed the cat out of that. Well I said its a bit late now, I am sure this dish is sterilized by the oven.
