Good morning
Your Grandmother Lucy is everyone's dream gramma. Reading is so much more important to a child than clean floors and counters. As for the hangers being hung in one direction, I totally agree, but I never knew that there was a serious reason for doing so. I do it because I have OCD.

Pat, I love this post. Your Grandma sounds awesome. I love the fact that she loved reading to you. I think getting a hug from your Grandma is priceless for young children. It's so nice that you have these memories of your family. When it comes to cleaning I'm probably more like your Mom and when my grandchildren are here they are always recycling for me and taking the garbage out and putting the clothes in the dryer. I keep them busy but they don't seem to mind.
