C_C_T, our spare refrigerator handles the cold which we are very thankful for at times like this.

FSI, thank you so much.  I will be so glad when the new part goes in so that things will get back to normal.

Re: Good morning

Sherri, staying home and watching movies is priceless to me.  We caught up on our "Big Sky" yesterday and that was nice.  I read that food is going to be more expensive in 2023.  I think at this point they should give us a credit for food.

Re: Grandkids are the greatest! Especially the ones who like our company.

Pat, it's always upsetting to me when something breaks down.  I always try to buy the extended warranty plans but our dishwasher was way passed that so it wouldn't have done a bit of good.  I could have had it repaired but since it was older I would have just been fixing an old dishwasher so we bought a new one.

Re:

adnohr, I hope you have a wonderful start to the new week.  I'm very thankful we have the second fridge because I'm not sure what the plan would have been if we didn't.  We don't have any animals in the house so I don't have to worry about the essential oils.  I didn't realize that Europeans shop daily.  It would be nice for fresh produce but I like shopping weekly.

I happen to be listening to Ludwig van Beethoven's "Emperor Concerto" and it has at times a marching beat to it, so I was picturing the two of you marching back and forth removing things from the broken refrigerator to the good one or the freezer.  LOL

Having been a victim of a freezer failing I bought a spare. I did read that some are not suitable in a cold garage, so I made sure this one was.

I'm wishing you a speedy fix with the fridge.

Good morning

Thank goodness for having a backup refrigerator. Food is way too expensive to waste. Salisbury steak and mashed potatoes are one of John's favorites. I just love the mashed potatoes. Yum! It's chilly here today too. We plan to stay home and watch movies and just relax before the work week begins all over again. Have a great day!

Grandkids are the greatest! Especially the ones who like our company.

Every time I read about a fridge or other appliance breaking down I get chills. If that happened to me I'd have to cook and eat everything right away, unless it's one of those weeks where it's like the Arctic around here. Fingers crossed yours is fixed quickly...

A 2nd fridge certainly comes in handy! And here in the Americas where we do our once-a-week shopping, unlike most Europeans who do it daily, a freezer is also a a help.I really hope your pieces for repair are nt delayed. I can't use essential oil diffusers here because of my animals, especially my bird. When I used to have them my favorite scent was jasmine. Caesar sounds like my own  grands; we love them madly!
