True, but I think all of us have done it from time to time.

Re: FSI

My husband was a sentimental man.  He always took a big white handkerchief to the movies with us and I could hear him blow his nose in the dark at sad or happy parts.

I've shed a few tears as well.

Re: adnohr

Invade my posts all you want to.  It makes me feel like part of the group even when I'm not writing well.

Sorry, dear TAPS, for invading your post with my replies to other comments. My only excuse is that it's very early AM.

Re:

You were too exhausted to cry at that time, sweet lady Kabu, physically and emotionally. It takes time to climb back up, but you will do it.

Did some weeping yesterday; it was Bird's birthday. It's done now.

Roy Orbison...one of my favorites for sure. I find it very difficult to cry. All cried out i expect. I couldn't cry for dear Wiley when he died...not then, not at hs funeral i was like a stiff broken doll. it was only sometime not long before Christmas that I had a few tears. I don't think it is healthy to never cry but I just can't.

Re: I always thought Roy Orbison had an amazing voice. Loved his records.

LOL.  I can remember some pretty awful faces of mine caused by crying.

I always thought Roy Orbison had an amazing voice. Loved his records.

As for crying, sometimes it can be therapeutic, and sometimes it just ruins your makeup.

Good afternoon

Crying is good for you. It cleanses the soul and gives you clarity that things will get better. I have done my share of it over the past few days, but I refuse to let life get me down. I absolutely love Roy Orbison. His music is uplifting.  Thank you for sharing. Pretty Woman is one of my favorites by him.
