Good Morning
Pat, I admire your family so much! To be able to make a life in the midst of very dire circumstances is what life is all about. I think paying it forward is something for us all to strive for in one way or the other.

Your teacher was probably impressed that even with little, you chose to donate something for those worse off.

I love those words, able to pay it forward. I was very proud of my sweet sons one Christmas. They didn't get the huge Christmas that children get these days but they attended a catholic school where families were all large. their friends received a gift and a stocking. My sons told them they received the same so as to not sound like spoiled little brag artists.

Merry Christmas
Paying it forward is the best gift that we can give in spite of it all.
