Have you ever been to a posada? They are Mexico's way of celebrating 9 days before Christmas.

I know you miss Ribcage - I hope playing his favorite music brings
you a blessing and not just sadness. I also like Carlos Santana. Hugs to your dear ones, and I hope this holiday is joyful for you all.

That is an absolute fabulous song rendition! I had no idea Santana could play like that! Love that Spanish guitar! I loved your post also.

It is a good time to remember them all. At certain moments it feels as if they are closer, and Christmas is one of those occasions, it seems to me. Santana is one of my favorites too.

Re: FSI
We thought it was going to be boring, but it wasn't.

Congratulations to the Chiefs. The Texans made it more exciting than I expected it to be.

Good morning
You're so right. Christmas and several other holidays are a time for remembering whether we want to or not. Memories are parked in our minds for life, and so many different seasons, holidays, smells, sights, and sounds can easily trigger them. Carlos Santana is an amazing guitarist. I can see why your son loved his music. That pilgramage to Bethlehem is very touching. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas.

Yes I expect Phil remembers. Years ago we visited a house the son was like Phil.
As soon as he saw my Dad he sat at the piano. He waited for Dad to ask for a tune.
He played it perfectly and seemed so pleased. We always left him a bar of
chocolate.
