You are getting so much done even while recuperating.

Re:

Taps, I love Christmas decorations and I know your decorations are beautiful.  My Christmas book is so good.  I'm really enjoying it.

That book sounds like a winner.
I certainly do love a good Christas  tree decorated beautifully, but I must admit I haven't done one since I turned 80.  I put up a few easier to do things.  No one complains  when they come over.  I really do love Christmas decorations though.

Re:

Kabu, you have so much going on at your house with the workers that decorating would be hard right now.  I know you will have fun though.

Re: I'm not regretting my decision not to do a Christmas tree this year.

Pat, I think maybe in the summer I will go through things again and donate to the women's shelter.  It's a lot of work though and hopefully, I feel like myself soon.  Having Covid for a month is terrible.  The cough has been the worst for me.  I'm glad you are not venturing downstairs.

We are doing nothing about decorations this year. We two will manage nicely together. we will tell each other stories of Christmas long ago.

I'm not regretting my decision not to do a Christmas tree this year.

I have a small one in storage downstairs, but no longer dare try to make it down and up those narrow basement stairs. There's probably a whole lot of stuff down there that could be donated - quilts, etc. Maybe when my daughter visits next time we'll do some sorting and pitching. Glad to read that you're enjoying the lights and all the hustle and bustle. I hope you and yours have a wonderful holiday season.

I'll have to check out that Patterson book. I do like his writing.

Re: Good morning

Sherri, your lasagna sounds so good.  I wish I had a nice serving.  My daughter-in-law always makes lasagna for holidays and we love it. Your Teriyaki stir fry sounds delicious.  Amazon is assuring me our gifts will be here before Christmas.  I sure hope so.  I think your small tree sounds adorable and what's best is that your presents are wrapped.  I haven't wrapped anything yet.  Roy's Christmas party is only for employees but I hope he has a nice time.  He will tell me all about it when he gets home.  Stay warm and safe!

Good morning

I'm glad that you are feeling better. I know that you love James Patterson books, so you should have an enjoyable night of reading. I miss those Christmas parties. John used to have them at his old job before they closed up shop. We dressed up for the evening, won prizes, and had a lovely dinner with cocktails. The steel mill where he now works only has a Christmas party for the big bosses. We love Chinese food too. I make a teriyaki stir fry with vegetables and Tso's chicken every few months with a side of fried rice. We have no snow as of yet either. We put our small tree up and all presents are wrapped and accounted for other than the ones that keep flowing in from Amazon. I still have to go shopping for our Christmas dinner. I am planning on an Italian feast with a main course of lasagna, so I plan to make a large casserole dish full of it. Stay warm!
