hoping you are soon completely over the covid thing. it is not something one wants to have and after being injected, it is tough to have gotten it. Sounds like you are about ready for christmas or very close.

Pat, I love manger scenes. Your tree with sparkling crocheted "lace" sounds beautiful. I have to say you are very creative. I do have a set of green glass Christmas trees that I love. There are 4 trees that are all different sizes. Sometimes I will put them on the table. I leave them on my bookshelf all year long. I found them at a garage sale years ago. I have snow globes with trees in them too.

FSI, live Christmas trees smell so good! When you enter a room where there is a live tree you can smell it when you walk in. I love that.

Your birthday sounds like a great time for you and all.
I no longer enjoy the decorating and later takedown of lights, tinsel, etc. and haven't bought a tree in some time. I do have a little manger scene with a tree I made - sparkling crocheted "lace" wrapped around a cone to look like a Christmas tree, topped with a glittery star. That brings the spirit of the season to mind.

Good morning
The cough is the worst. I hope that you feel better. My mom and I were both diagnosed with RSV which comes with a dry cough. Mine is finally gone, but she is still fighting hers.I bet that your tree is beautiful. We went with a small tree this year. We plan to have a small gathering on Christmas Day with an Italian inspired dinner this year. After so many years of COVID and negative news we all felt that it was a great time for change. Hopefully the new year will follow suit. Have a wonderful day and enjoy your hamburgers.
