Good Afternoon
Pat, you are so much fun! Thanks for the smiles this afternoon. I like the idea of wearing your hippy hat. That should liven things up a bit and who knows you just might run into some people that want one just like you have. It's been so cold here that I think our squirrels are in their warm beds until it warms up a bit. I hope you stay warm on these cold days.

Good morning
Thanks for the morning laugh. As for the squirrels, my breakfast squad checked in around 7:30 am for their black seeds and nuts. I buy the Cardinal seeds, but the squirrels, chipmunks, and the bunnies usually beat the birds to it, so I fill my feeders for my feathered buddies. Maybe you can try leaving out some corn. I buy the 30lb bag of apple scented for $8.96 at Walmart. I found it in the camping/hunting section of the store.

Re: CCT
So far I haven't worn the hat out in public. Will share any findings if/when I do...

Well all is well squirrel -wise. I wondered if they were busy burying walnuts we had a
heavy load this year. I suppose taste differs in different climes. I know you have a
Walnut tree near as well. Any reaction to the hat or does the season allow?

While watching for the Walmart delivery of ReliOn Prime Test Strips (for blood sugar) this morning, I saw squirrels running around doing their thing in the cold weather. It kept me from falling back to sleep. Things disappear around here if one doesn't watch, and I don't think it is because of the squirrels.

P.S.
A team of the Brick Street Squirrel troup showed up around 9:00 a.m. and disposed of all the scattered peanuts by 9:15. Ate some, took others to their favorite storage sites. They appeared soon after the deep fog disappeared.
