I can only see a wee strip of the top of the picture. I played the organ, the one we pump with our feet and pull and push the stops out and in to deepen the sound. I could read music in those days. I have a piano here, and only one of my grandsons will give it a go when he comes by.

Re: Kabu
Some have it, and some do something else. If everyone was a piano player, other things wouldn't get done.

We had a piano as I was growing up. I had lessons for enough years to be able to play well but no aptitude I just couldn't play well enough. I switched to singing lessons and used the piano for practice. Big Sis had a lovely touch . Our teacher would sniff and look at me in disgust when she said this; at every one of those durn lessons.

Re: FSI
One of my Sons still plays regularly but he does it on an 88 key keyboard. So, it was worth it.

It takes a lot of dedication to learn to play the piano. My sister does know how to play. She hasn't played in years, though.

Good morning
That is a stunning vision. That tree is gorgeous. I played the piano when I was in grade school but quickly lost interest in it.

Re: C_C_T
Why did I not think of that back then. The fellows could have played that while they waited their turns up to bat playing baseball or even played it as they rode their bikes. I turned to the concertina myself and had lots of fun with that around the campfire on camping trips in the mountains.

Lovely Photo. Perhaps you should have all learned to play the mouth organ you could have had one each.

What a gorgeous photo! What a gorgeous home! My goodness! Lovely. And that tree... Yes, a piano is wonderful. We had lessons as children and practiced everyday. That lasted until about 6th grade. You have lots of music in your life, and you can sing! What a blessing!
