It's true! There is a lot of hype and it starts earlier each year. i love it after the Winter solstice. I do like Christmas but I like how it used to be. I hope you enjoy a lot of cocoa until Spring arrives.

Good Morning
Pat, I do love this season but I'm still recuperating so it seems like I'm in slow motion getting everything done. Roy and my son-in-law Jim brought the Christmas tree downstairs but as of right this moment it's sitting in a big box in the living room. I know we will get it up but I don't think it will be today. I love the first snowfall but so far we've got freezing temperatures and no snow. We are finally going to get rid of an old chair in the living room. We have to make sure it's wrapped before the garbage company will take it. I'm glad to see it go and right where it sits I'm going to put the tree. That is a happy thought for me.

The cool thing to remember is that as of Dec 22 or so, the nights are growing shorter one tiny but inexorable bit at a time. My light-yearning heart begins to pick up then, just knowing!

Good morning
I am right there with you. The winter months are not my favorite. I come alive at the first sign of spring, which typically involves Daffodils and Tulips.
