Sounds a tough way to make a dollar, perhaps customers will be more generous for a while.

Good Afternoon
I hope this week goes good for you to make up for the not-so-good days. People can be rude and inconsiderate but hopefully, you run into more nice people along the way. I read somewhere that the way people treat others is the way they feel about themselves. That means it's them and not us. I always try to be considerate of everyone.

I go out of my way to joke with and thank the checkers at the grocery and
Walmart, since I know anyone in customer service jobs has to put up with more than the usual number of entitled, unreasonable asses. Even in an office job, its rare to get a thank you or an atta-girl from anyone. It makes me happy to get a grin out of someone by letting them know they're seen and appreciated. I think one thing that makes it worse for door-dash workers - the customer doesn't meet them in person before the delivery, doesn't see them as folks like themselves. It's not you!

Good morning
We live in a world filled with uncertainties and people are forever changed since the COVID. So many just do not want human contact due to fear of getting sick or dying. The media has hyped this part up to the boiling point. As for reviews, they are the way of our world now, and there is no way that you can please everyone no matter how hard you try. This is why I prefer to have a job that has very little human contact. Nice, manners, respect, and empathy are a rare find these days. The best of luck to you.
