The mind does try and sooth if possible. It just needs that little awareness to
balance the odds and lift one gently back to normal. Knowing those one grieves for
would never wish it to be so.

How wonderful they way that the priest 'just happened' to be there when you were there and yes, there is tremendous power in prayer. God bless.

I have known two real men of God in my life. One was an Anglican priest and the other was Father Bill who I had requested he bury our Whiley. I think darling Christmas and actually all family times are really difficult when you have just lost someone so precious to you. praying a nother prayer of peace to be with you.

How wonderful. Our Heavenly Father knows when we have needs and what to do about it and he uses plain old people to meet those needs. I'm so glad that that priest paid attention to the urging that he received to give you a blessing.

Good afternoon
There is power in prayer. I am so sorry that you are feeling down and out of sorts. I am sending prayers and my heartfelt condolences. This time of year has a way of making people feel a bit depressed, but adding sad life changing events makes it even worse. I hope that your day gets better.

Good Morning
Pat, I think the prayer was just what you needed. It was such a blessing in a time of need. May God Bless you! When Roy and I went to the school breakfast with Cyrus there was a church service before the breakfast and there were different people that spoke and one priest spoke about Jesus making wine at the wedding. His mother asked him to. I absolutely loved it. I knew the story but it was so nice to listen to it again. It gave me a warm feeling. I told Cyrus how much I loved that story.

Beautiful! A minister, a priest, a rabbi - they are still just human beings and this one was willing and ready to take a share your burden, then give you warmth in return.
