I never got into drinking coffee. I prefer tea. I rarely drink soda. The things we do as young ones.

Good afternoon
I used to drink coffee and soda. I no longer drink coffee at all, and I only drink soda when I order fast food. As for that old typewriter, I had one similar back in the 80s.

Funny we keep a bottle in the fridge for
emergencies but honestly I do not know what they are.

Sometimes that happens when we have a lot of something; we tire of it...We had an employee named Roy Kent who would drink at least a dozen Pepsis a day.

Good Morning
When I was growing up we had Pepsi and coke cola in the house. I never could decide which one I liked the best. Now I drink varied drinks depending on what time of day it is. I always have coffee in the morning. Lately, I've been drinking a glass of Vernor's in the afternoon. I always drink zero-sugar pop. I don't like the sweetened pop.

We only had pop if it was at a birthday party or once in a while g-uncle would get root beet and make root beer floats. This reminded me of that. Thank you.

Re: So, if memory serves you left the typewriter in the office and answered
There were many years between the Kansas City Health Department typewriter and the night-shift nurse...thirty years of marriage, four sons, eight grandchildren, a lot of good years, a few difficult ones, etc., etc. I began nursing at age 52.

Mother and dad a couple of times a year would buy a bottle of lemonade. In Australia lemonade is rather like Sprite. A fizzy drink, my parents and big Sister would drink it; I didn't like the fizz. later when I was about 10 I discovered Coca Cola and Sarsaparilla and now I drink Sprite!! and one coffee a day.

So, if memory serves you left the typewriter in the office and answered
a higher call, to be a night-shift nurse. My mother didn't allow soda when we were young, either - especially Coca Cola, except on the 4th of July at the family picnic.
