You really sent me back to thinking about life on the farm. We didn't sell the milk but sold the cream to be made into butter. It was good fun to help dad with milking by watching over the machine separate the cream from the milk.

This is a great chapter. My husband was a farm boy every summer. He lived in the city during school time, but then was taken to the farm to work while his mom and dad and sister went on vacations. I found out after we were married that he had a lot of problems caused by abuse that no one had ever brought up when we were dating. His problems came into view after we had four sons.
